Dr Saravana Kumar, GM & Unit Head, Consultant Emergency Physician & Head, Dept of A&E, Dr Mehta’s Hospitals, Chennai.

Dr Saravana Kumar is the current GM and Unit Head of Dr Mehta’s Hospitals Chennai and a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Dr Mehta’s Hospitals, Chennai. Apart from his leadership role in hospital Management, he champions Quality and patient safety across the organization and is also the chief for Innovation and Tech clinical validation at Dr Mehta’s and also provides clinical mentorship for Healthcare innovators. In his earlier life he is Head Clinical Operations & Group Head, Emergency and Trauma and Specialist in Emergency Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation. He is former Consultant Emergency Physician in Columbia Asia Hospitals Pvt. Ltd.

Dr Saravana Kumar is awarded by “Pionner in SEMI fellowship Program” in 2016 for designing and implementing first restructured “Fellowship in Emergency Medicine”, A SEMI academic program in India (2010). He also called as “Heroes of India” by AHPI for disaster relief effort during Chennai Floods December 2015.
