Jilma is a Biomedical Engineer by training and before starting Kozhnosys has worked with Larsen & Toubro, Fortis Hospitals and other healthcare equipment companies in wide-ranging roles from sales to service to being an end user and in R&D as well. She has an M-Tech degree in Bioscience and Engineering from Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Pune.
She founded Kozhnosys in 2017 with the aim of developing cost-effective and cutting-edge biomedical devices in India. Kozhnosys has received BIRAC BIG grant and NIDHI PRAYAS grant in 2017, BIRAC SEED fund in 2019 and Indus CSR grant in 2020.
