Mr.Mahadevan Narayanamoni (Mahad), Senior Advisor, TPG Capital, Co-Founder, Akna Medical Pvt Ltd, Former Advisory Leader, Grant Thornton.

Mahad is a Senior Advisor to TPG Capital, a global private equity fund manager with >$100 Billion assets under management. At TPG, Mahad focuses on the Healthcare and life sciences sectors, evaluating new investments in the sector and driving value creation initiatives in portfolio companies in India. His key focus portfolios over the last 5-6 years have been Healthium Medtech (one of the largest Indian med-tech companies) and CARE Group of Hospitals (a ~2,000 bed national hospital chain).

Mahad is also the co-founder of Akna Medical Pvt Ltd (Aknamed), a company setup to transform the hospital supply chain in India using technology, data and procurement aggregation. Aknamed is backed by LGT Lightstone Capital, a leading global private equity fund headquartered in the UK.

Prior to TPG, Mahad spent over 15 years across the UK and India on M&A, IPOs, capital raising and performance improvement / restructuring, with a focus on healthcare, pharma, logistics and other sectors. Mahad started his career with Hindustan Unilever Ltd, where he worked on a number of supply chain improvement projects.

Mahad is an alumnus of IIT Madras (‘96) and IIM Lucknow (‘98).
