Jos Scheffelaar is a European/American entrepreneur with 35+ years of global business experience who has been working in High-Tech in several countries in Europe and in Asia. Using his global skills, experience and understanding of business-cultural differences, and by leveraging his extensive professional network, he advises emerging international companies on US market entry.Jos is the co-founder of Launch in US Alliance, a company that advises international entrepreneurs on launching their business in the US, and is a Founding Partner of Kendall-Teams (kTeams), a hands-on US market exploration program for international scale-ups. kTeams is a spin-off from an MIT program of which Jos was one of the organizers (2011-2014).
He is frequently invited by international organizations and universities as a guest lecturer to give his unique international perspective on American entrepreneurship and US market entry for international companies. He has given guest lectures at Indian Universities (including IIT-M), and mentored Indian entrepreneurs. Jos is active in Boston’s innovation ecosystem, has been a judge and mentor in MIT business competitions, MassChallenge and several other Boston and international programs for entrepreneurs.
