Mr. Balram Nair has around one and half decades of experience in the financial services industry, spanning across banking and asset management companies. He is specialized in managing institutional business. His interactions with the treasury departments of almost all companies in Chennai and other locations in the state, kindled his interest to follow the start-up space closely. Currently Mr. Balram Nair is a Vice President Alternate Investments at ACSYS INVESTMENTS PRIVATE LIMITED. He is former Vice President at Chennai Angels, actively handled all functions in Angel Investing, from Deal Sourcing, Evaluation, Deal Making and Portfolio Management. He is also former Senior Manager at Axis Bank (Affluent Relationship Manager) and Sales Head at PineBridge Investments in Chennai, managed the entire branch function, from sales to operations, performed the role of a sales head for the branch handling channel sales, Independent Advisors, Banks, Distributors and Corporate Treasuries, planning annual targets and strategizing sales ideas to achieve the numbers.
